How BoiiBoii runs a Kreuzberg fun dining room on one connected system
Boii Boii grew out of a Pad Thai pop-up and took over a Kreuzberg fine dining space in 2024. Niklas and Nita Wolff take reservations and orders on one system, which was the whole reason they switched.
Change is the constant at Boii Boii
Boii Boii started in 2024 as THAI NOODS, a pop-up with a short menu and a natural wine list that moved around Berlin. The last one ran at Casa Camper, in the room where Bar Basta is now, and by the end of it the team wanted something permanent without knowing what permanent would look like. Then they found the old Lode & Stijn space.
"Everything made sense to us. The location, the kitchen, the neighborhood, the size. In a very brave moment, we decided we could pull it off."
After making a few changes, Boii Boii opened six weeks after getting the keys. Niklas and Nita call what they do fun dining, simple and tasty food that keeps it interesting for the guests.
Dishes, wines and drinks change regularly, pulled along by the seasons because so much of what they cook is local.
“We change dishes, wines, and drinks quite regularly. We source locally, so the menu changes with the seasons. We think a lot about what our guests would like to eat depending on the weather.”

Cutting systems and costs
Through the pop-up years and into the permanent room, the reservations and the payments required two separate subscriptions which had to be reconciled every night.
"We used to run the agenda and the POS with different providers. With Tebi, it's one system, and I'd never go back."
Boii Boii also moved payments to Tebi, which offers low rates usually reserved for big businesses, to everyone. Niklas and Nita are clear about what that changed for them: "We save a lot on transaction fees" and they’re able to reinvest these savings back into the guest experience.

Beyond reservations and orders
The team uses Tebi well beyond taking bookings and ringing up orders. Guest messages, checking the book, arranging the evening's seating, updating the menu and inventory, reading the analytics. All of it happens in the same place.
The gift cards are the clearest example of what that opened up. With Tebi's widget they now sell online, so the same revenue line is open even when the restaurant isn't.
"We used to make the gift cards ourselves. Now they're on our website, and someone can buy one at any hour without us being there."
Easy for the whole team
None of that came at a cost to the team, according to Niklas.
"Tebi is intuitive and complete. The team picked it up fast, and it fits the way we already work."
Problems are rare, and the ones that come happen mid-service. "Support is hands-on and back to us within minutes," he says.
What’s next for Boii Boii
Asked where they want Boii Boii in two years, Niklas and Nita go to the name.
"We want Boii Boii to be a place that people come back to again and again because they have such a good experience every time they come. That's actually also the meaning of our name, as it means 'often' in Thai."
